Working in Human Resources for a fortune 200 company headquartered in Cleveland I know how important it is to attract and retain a diverse group of young professionals. I joined the Engage! Cleveland board because I was impressed with the wide variety of opportunities and experiences they offer to engage their members and wanted to be part of the incredible work that they are doing..

Since its founding in 2012, I’ve admired Engage! Cleveland and its mission to attract, engage, and retain young professionals in support of Greater Cleveland. The effort is critical to the future vibrancy of this region, which is why I was pleased to be asked to join the Board of Directors and this organization’s talented staff. Northeast Ohio is a wonderful place to live, work, and explore. Engage! has the opportunity to work with other entities in the region to host events and tell our story to the future leaders of this community. What better way to support the place we call home?

I am really looking forward to joining the board and being a more active advocate for all of the great things that Cleveland has to offer. There are a lot of hidden gems and history in the city and surrounding neighborhoods but more importantly, a lot of really great, talented young professionals! I love that we define “young professional” as more of a lifestyle so spreading the word and being part of an organization that creates opportunities for this group to network, have fun, fall in love with our city and support each other checked all the boxes for me!
