Engage! Cleveland’s Returning Professional Development Series Aims to Engage Mid-Career Professionals 

CLEVELAND, Ohio —July 2, 2024 –  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  — Engage! Cleveland will host its 3rd Annual Mid-Career Professional Development Series every Thursday of August, beginning August 1, 2024.  This five-week series includes sessions to help elevate the careers of Cleveland’s mid-level professionals by bringing in some of the region’s top subject matter experts to help attendees develop as leaders in their fields.

Cleveland is proud to once again offer our Professional Development Series to provide mid-level professionals with an affordable and incredibly valuable way to advance their careers,” said Ashley Basile Oeken, President of Engage! Cleveland. “With programming specifically designed to help elevate the careers of mid-career professionals, this series provides the tools to cultivate unique skills that will help attendees for many years to come.”

This series aims to provide a toolkit for mid-level professionals to elevate their proficiencies into managerial levels and beyond. This year’s series will include 5 dynamic 1.5 hour sessions over five weeks with the goal that attendees will leave equipped to further advance their professional journeys in Cleveland. The below sessions will be presented by experts at leading Cleveland organizations. 

Week 1 on August 1, 2024:

• Embracing Leadership Roles and Organizational Change

Week 2 on August 8, 2024: 

• Enhancing Workplace Dynamics
• Fostering positive workplace connections and enhancing engagement across teams. 

Week 3 on August 15, 2024: 

• Conflict & Communication
• Navigating Challenges and Fostering Inclusive Communication

Week 4 on August 22, 2024: 

• Elevate Your Team
• Strategies for Development, Feedback, and Leadership Growth

Week 5 on August 29, 2024:

• Mid-Career Navigation
• Refocusing Roles and Renewing Paths
