Whether you’re looking for fresh produce to cook with, local meats and cheeses, or want to try a new Cleveland treat- there are plenty of options each day in the region!
Across Cleveland, The North Union Farmers Market hosts weekly markets- all featuring fresh produce and small businesses! No matter where you live in Cleveland, you’re never that far from a North Union farmers’ Market. Weekly markets can be found in Crocker Park, Shaker Square, Chagrin Falls, Legacy Village, Cleveland Clinic, Lakewood, University Hospitals, and The Van Aken District. Some markets are outdoors, showcasing Cleveland’s parks and neighborhoods- while others are indoors operating year-round.
Did you know there is a farm located right in the heart of Ohio City? The Ohio City farm by Re:Source Cleveland sits on 5 acres of land making it one of the largest contiguous urban farms in the United States, and they have their own store! Visitors can shop farm-fresh produce alongside locally-made grocery and pantry staples, beverages, and more! You can also tour the farm to see local produce grown right here in Cleveland!
With more than 70 vendors, the West Side Market is a top spot to find local produce, baked goods, hand-made pasta, and more! As the oldest publicly owned market, The West Side Market has been featured on both the Travel Channel and Food Network, making it a Cleveland standout. The market is open year-round on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and on the weekends. Tourists and locals alike love visiting this robust market hall.
Szalay’s Farm & Market is best known for its fresh corn, but also has plenty of other fruits and vegetables! Plus, this market is close to some great trails in the Cuyahoga National Park if you’re looking to enjoy the fall leaves or take a scenic bike ride!
For West siders- the Tremont Farmer’s Market opens every Tuesday and features even more local produce from Cleveland vendors. Living on the East side? Check out Coit Road Framer’s Market year-round on Saturdays and seasonally on Tuesdays too!
