The Contract Implementation Intern will be responsible for assisting with all contract implementation and ongoing contracting support for member practices, internal teams, and industry partners. The Intern will work heavily in Salesforce, Excel, and other various reporting tools in order to implement and maintain customer contracts. The Contract Implementation team is a customer-facing team that works closely with various stakeholders across Specialty Networks and our external clients. The Intern will maintain customer profiles, provide contract support to other member-facing departments, and drive accuracy and value across the Contracting Department. This role is highly visible throughout the organization and will be vital to the growing success of Specialty Networks.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of all customer contracts across Specialty Networks’ GPO portfolio
• Support both member practices and industry/distributor partners with any and all contract implementation needs
• Execute resolution and growth strategies (i.e. client communication) based upon contract utilization findings from Contract Analyst Team
• Ensure proper activation and processing of any declared GPO contracts
• Collaborate with Specialty Networks Marketing Department in the creation and execution of contract marketing materials
• Generate and assist with the creation of presentations for client facing meetings, as well as internal materials
• Maintain accurate CRM data for both contracts and membership lists, for both internal and external clients
Education / Experience
• In process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Preferred 1+ years of experience with contract implementation and/or administrative operations
Skills / Abilities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in applications including Salesforce, DocuSign, Adobe, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Effectively deliver information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
• Practical problem-solving skills, dealing with a variety of variables and situations
