We are a dynamic and growing organization. We are seeking a Director of Information Technology for a full-time, on-site role in our Cleveland, Ohio
office. In this high-impact role, you will oversee all aspects of IT operations, data security, and system infrastructure to ensure our company’s continued growth, efficiency, and long-term success. You will also lead and mentor a team of 8 developers, 7 help desk support technicians, and 2 systems architects, work alongside a business analyst and outside consultants, and report to our Chief Information Officer. This position requires more than just technical knowledge—our ideal candidate must be able to bridge the gap between IT and business needs, as well as break down technical concepts into clear, useful information for non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership – develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring continuous technological advancement
• Project Management – oversee multiple, complex IT projects simultaneously, ensuring successful execution on time and within budget
• Hands-On Involvement – engage directly with IT processes, including network management, system administration, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity
• Team Leadership & Development – mentor and empower our team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment while leading by example
• Security & Compliance – ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and adherence to best practices across all IT systems
• Technology Research & Implementation – identify, evaluate, and implement technologies that enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support business growth
• Vendor & Budget Management – manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the IT budget, maintaining a balance between cost-effective solutions and long-term, strategic investments
• Risk Management & Business Continuity – proactively review, enforce, and modify IT policies, risk mitigation strategies, and disaster recovery plans as needed to ensure resilience and reliability
Qualifications
• 7+ years of IT management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role with direct reports
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Relevant industry certifications are a plus
Requirements:
• Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and pivot in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Natural ability to establish trust and credibility, especially with direct reports; able to leverage and build upon an established team’s existing expertise
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into practical business terms for a diverse range of stakeholders (including employees, agents, terminal
personnel, truck drivers, and customers)
• Adept at communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams and management groups
• Experience with situations that require conflict resolution/casting a wide net to build consensus between different viewpoints
Work Schedule & Benefits:
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (on-site in Cleveland, OH)

Physical Demands of the Position:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office
