Fundraising Marketing Specialist – Friendship Circle of Cleveland

Position Overview:

Friendship Circle of Cleveland is seeking a dynamic and innovative Fundraising Marketing Specialist to
lead our fundraising and donor engagement marketing efforts. This individual will play a critical role in
creating and executing marketing strategies that align with our mission, fostering meaningful connections
with donors, partners, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Annual Fundraising Marketing Strategy

● Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing calendar, incorporating key touchpoints and milestones.
● Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with fundraising goals an organizational priorities.

2. Annual Fundraising Marketing Campaigns:

● Design, execute, and oversee impactful campaigns such as Teen Recognition, the Walk and the Year-End Drive.
● Ensure messaging is consistent, mission-driven, and resonates with target audiences.
● Analyze campaign performance and use insights to optimize future initiatives.

3. Annual Donor & Partner Mailings:

● Create and distribute materials such as the Partnership Brochure and Thank You Brochure to engage donors and partners.
● Ensure all communications reflect the organization’s mission and convey appreciation.

4. Fundraising Public Relations (PR):

● Manage PR efforts for fundraising activities, including developing press releases and leveraging media opportunities.
● Act as a point of contact for news outlets and identify opportunities to amplify the organization’s impact.

5. Quarterly/Biannual Donor Communications:

● Plan and produce regular donor communications to share updates, successes, and stories that demonstrate the organization’s impact.
● Maintain a consistent voice that fosters donor trust and engagement.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience in marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit communications, with a focus on donor engagement and campaign management.
● Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
● Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing, social media, and analytics tools.
● Passion for the mission of Friendship Circle of Cleveland and a commitment to community-building and inclusion.
