The Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA), a national leader in art and design education, is looking for a motivated and tech-savvy IT Help Desk Team Lead to join our Information Technology team. In this full-time role, you’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day help desk operations—supporting students, faculty, and staff with their technology needs. You’ll lead and mentor a team of student workers, manage service tickets, maintain equipment and software inventory, and help ensure that classrooms, labs, and offices stay connected and running smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in onboarding new users, supporting computer labs, and contributing to technology projects across campus.
This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of technical support experience, a passion for customer service, and a desire to grow in the field of IT. You’ll work with both macOS and Windows environments and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative setting—surrounded by artists, designers, and innovators.

Compensation
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. CIA offers a benefit package including; paid time off accrual, 13 paid holidays, as well as additional time off while the college is closed during winter break. CIA offers health and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, 403B retirement contribution, tuition remission, free campus parking, and inter-museum council discounts.
