REPORTS TO: MAILROOM/PRINT SHOP SUPERVISOR
STATUS: PART-TIME, NON-EXEMPT, HOURLY
Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for the part-time position of Mailroom/Print Shop Clerk.
While assisting the Mailroom/Print Shop Supervisor, the Mailroom/Print Shop Clerk will provide ongoing, hands-on customer service to students, faculty, and staff for mailing, receiving, and printing services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with mail and package scanning, sorting, distribution, and recording in accordance with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL regulations.
- Assists with large-scale print jobs as requested by faculty and staff.
- Assists with print finishing, i.e., folding, binding, cutting, lamination, etc.
- Delivers paper and consumables to campus copiers/printers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Mailroom/Print Shop Supervisor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPENTENCIES:
- Willingness to learn in accordance with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL regulations.
- Possesses working knowledge or willingness to learn standard mail and return service procedures based on U.S. Postal Service guidelines.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude.
- Customer and detail-oriented.

- Creative, strategic, thoughtful, and has a sense of humor.
