POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Investor Memberships’ primary role is to keep track of information from investor-level member companies, as well as other important companies in the region, and retain a segment of investor members. This person will work with all departments of GCP to ensure our records are up to date on all activity we are engaged in with our investor-level members, always acting in conjunction with All-In values focusing on Inter-connected and Integrity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for investor-level member companies’ contact data collection in the CRM Tool (including but not limited to collecting and upkeeping names, emails, and other pertinent information of contacts at investor companies).
- Upkeep the tracking of relationships, investor-level member engagement with GCP, and critical company information (e.g., updates on key executives) in the CRM tool.
- Respond in a timely manner to investor-level inquiries and email communications as needed.
- Assist with streamlining processes that assist the GCP finance team and the internal data team.
- Assist with onboarding new investor-level members.
- Manage renewal and retention of Tier 5 and 6 accounts.
- Assist in fulfillment of all contractual obligations with sponsors of GCP, including but not limited to: (1) Managing communications regarding speaking opportunities, exhibitor tables, attendance, and registration lists for events. (2) Working with accounting to ensure smooth billing and collections process. (3) Work directly with the Director of Sponsorship on contacts from completion of the agreement through to fulfillment and follow-up after the engagement.
- Assist with the sponsorship tracking process of events that GCP sponsors.
- Lead with a customer friendly approach in all interactions.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool experience required.
- 3 – 5 years of related experience required, preferably in a sales department.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Detail-oriented. Strong organizational skills related to processing information and materials a must.
- Sales follow-up experience preferred.
- Excellent written/oral communication including formal business writing style.
- Proficiency in time management
- Long-term and short-term planning skills
- Ability to handle an array of customer personalities.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and multiple projects, prioritizing work as needed.
- Strong level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM programs preferred
- Self-starter, independent worker; able to see projects through to completion without supervision
