The Marketing Project Coordinator supports assigned departments in aligning all phases of the marketing strategy, from content development, to execution, distribution, and measurement. In this role, the Coordinator will ensure the highest standards and brand consistency established by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines in a fast-paced environment and the ability to demonstrate expertise in building professional relationships with vendors, contractors/freelance writers and designers, volunteers, interns, and the media.

- Requires a bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, advertising, or related field)
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferred; strong writing, project coordination, and creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge f social media platforms, Sprout Social, and analytics tracking; ability to create content consistent with the Girl Scout brand identity, including writing and editing social media posts, and improving customer engagement; suggest strategies to promote and evaluate the council’s social media presence and performance; stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and DSLR camera desired; must learn SharePoint and GSUSA’s Salesforce CRM and other software specific to Girl Scouts; must be proficient with Canva; familiarity with Google Analytics; familiarity with website management

- Strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking, and relationship building
