National Interstate is looking for a Product Filing Analyst to join their team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Richfield, Ohio Office.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Prepares filing submissions to various state insurance departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and submits responses to departments, obtaining necessary information from compliance associates and managers.
  • Maintains current knowledge and records of state filing requirements, including fees, notice requirements, and approval procedures.
  • May provide support to product teams, including organizing information to expedite decision-making processes for filing associates and managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field.

 

Experience: No prior work experience is required.

 

Scope of Job/Qualifications: Works on assignments of low to moderate technical complexity and coordination. Develops working knowledge of company policies, regulatory agencies, and current trends in ensuring product filing compliance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Demonstrates working knowledge of insurance coverage, as well as provisions specific to the assigned territory/unit. Develops analytical skills and the ability to use data to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
