Rodney Johnson is responsible for partnering with Gallagher United States leaders to drive culture & inclusion programs across the U.S. as well as support enterprise-wide initiatives. These efforts are linked to U.S. business strategies and includes developing, implementing, measuring and reinforcing programs designed to advance a culture of inclusion through strategic partnerships, diverse business development, attracting and retaining a diverse workforce, supplier diversity and promoting culture, diversity and inclusion efforts across the country and throughout the insurance industry

Rodney has been a strong supporter and very active with several philanthropic organizations that supports and drives success within our urban communities and delivers access to free healthcare and educational resources. He currently sits on the board of Cancer Support Community, Catholic Inner City Education and the Life Support Organization where he’s passionate about creating real impact within underserved populations. Rodney has a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and is a Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producer.

Chief Legal Director- Executive & Financial Risk, Gallagher

Ms. Douglass is responsible for the legal leadership of Gallagher’s Executive & Financial Risk practice, including the development of intellectual capital, manuscripting policy language, negotiating enhanced coverage terms for Gallagher’s book of business, and assisting in best practices for coverage and exposure analysis.

Natalie’s entire career has been with Gallagher’s Executive & Financial Risk practice, hired as a former intern and one of its first members in a practice that is now over 200 employees-strong. She started her career by broking management liability and served in that capacity for ten years. In fact, while broking by day, she attended law school at night, tailoring a curriculum with a management liability focus.

Since then, she has served in various capacities at Gallagher, including as Senior Managing Director of the national practice group and in a claim advocacy role for management liability claims in the Chicago office. With both a broking and legal background, she is uniquely qualified to stay on top of current trends in policy language and claims interpretation.

Natalie holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and Juris Doctor from St. Louis University. She is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), American Bar Association, and Missouri Bar Association. She was the recipient of the Power Broker Rising Star – Risk & Insurance Magazine (2017), Power Broker Finalist, At Large – Risk & Insurance Magazine (2017) and the Gallagher Wightman Award (2015).

Dr. Leroy (Lee) David Nunery II is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with a unique breadth of experiences formed from over forty years in corporate banking and capital markets, higher education, professional sports, charter school management, public education, and with a family-owned electrical contracting firm, Leroy Nunery & Sons, Inc. In 2007, Leroy founded PlūsUltré LLC, a strategic advisory firm that focuses on turnarounds, transformations, growth and innovation planning, resource development, talent development, governance training, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.

Attorney, Seyfarth Shaw LLP

Brandon is a labor & employment partner at the law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He provides practical, timely advice to his clients on an array of day-to-day workplace legal issues. He has a particular emphasis on assisting clients with identifying legal risks and overcoming those obstacles in support of their diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) efforts and goals, and is the founding member of the firm’s DEI Taskforce. In addition to workplace DEI issues, Brandon has also become a go-to resource for supplier diversity issues. He also has extensive experience litigating a variety of claims under federal and state anti-discrimination laws.

Larry Phillips serves as the Divisional Assistant Vice President of Culture and Inclusion at Gallagher and co-leads the Gallagher Connect Partners, a network of 40+ diverse certified firms in the insurance sector. Larry was introduced to the insurance industry as a Gallagher intern in 2011, and became a Property/Casualty producer specializing in public housing authorities, higher education and K-12 schools. In 2017, Larry was promoted to co-lead Gallagher’s Inclusion and Diversity strategies. As a leader in Gallagher Connect Partners, Larry is dedicated to establishing meaningful, deliberate and inclusive relationships with Gallagher’s diverse partners to increase business opportunities. He also supports Gallagher’s diverse recruiting strategies and internal inclusion and diversity efforts. Larry graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Business School with a Bachelor of Arts in Risk Management and Insurance.
