Welcome to our Summer Intern, Isaiah Lucky!

Engage! Cleveland is excited to welcome Isaiah Lucky as our talented intern for the summer! Engage! Cleveland is proud to partner with Eleven Plus to curate these internship programs with our team. Isaiah will be focusing on data management and events this summer. 

Beginning in June, Isaiah was onboarded and joined in our 12th Annual Young Professionals Week, where he was able to help us with set up, social media, greeting guests, and networking.

Get to know him a little more below:

1. Where are you going to school? I am currently a senior at Cleveland State University.

2. What is your major/what are you studying? I am studying Mechanical Engineering Technology and I just finished up the requirements for my minor degree in Information Systems.

3. When are you expected to graduate? I am expected to graduate in the Spring of 2026.

4. What is your favorite hidden gem in Cleveland? My favorite hidden gem in Cleveland is the music scene, especially during the summer where you can hear excellent music from it being played live at multiple restaurants/venues to the artists who come and grace our city.

5. What is your favorite restaurant in Cleveland? My favorite restaurant in Cleveland is Cilantro Taqueria.

6. What is your favorite museum or public place to visit in Cleveland? My favorite public place to visit in Cleveland is Edgewater Park.

7. Do you see yourself living and working in Cleveland post graduation? I have been thinking about this as of late, and I can see myself staying in Cleveland post-graduation. I can also see myself leaving for a few years and returning to the city, where it will have emerged as a growing unit.

8. If you could watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? I don’t have a particular movie that I’d pick, but if I had to as of now, it would be Goodfellas. The reason being is because I am a fan of crime movies.

9. What are you most excited about working with Engage! Cleveland for the summer? I am most excited about the opportunity that working with Engage! Cleveland will give me pertaining to networking and learning how to be organized and bring more diversity to my resume.

10. What is one thing, not associated with this internship, that you are looking forward to this summer? One thing I am looking forward to this summer is to grow my relationship with God and improve on myself as a person while gaining more knowledge and obtaining a future job in my field.
