Employer Member Spotlight: Beck Center for the Arts

Beck Center for the Arts, located in Lakewood, Ohio, is a non-profit organization dedicated to performing arts and arts education. It is the largest theater and arts center on Cleveland’s West Shore, serving over 65,000 people annually. The center offers a unique combination of performing arts and arts education, providing over 200 award-winning classes, programs, and lessons. Its comprehensive, curriculum-based arts education covers a wide range of topics, including creative arts therapies, dance, music, theater, and visual arts, and serves over 60,000 individuals annually in several counties.

Beck Center is also proud to be part of Northeast Ohio’s professional theater landscape, with a professional theater season filled with an eclectic blend of titles. The center’s professional theater is known for hiring professional actors from the Northeast Ohio region, including members of Actors’ Equity.

Beck Center for the Arts offers a wide range of arts education programs, including creative arts therapies, dance, music, theater, visual arts, and early childhood arts education. Some of the specific programs include visual arts classes for children, teens, and adults, early childhood arts education for newborns to six-year-olds, and arts sampler events for children to learn about music, movement, visual arts, and theater
