My Night With The Cavs!
Written by: Leadership Council Member – Mariah Halata
I had the privilege of being able to attend the Cavaliers versus the Bucks basketball game on Wednesday, January 17. Many believed that the Bucks were going to destroy the Cavaliers…but I held out hope.
This game was free All-Star poster night and was a pretty crowded game for a cold, Wednesday night. The game started with a performance by the Cavs 216 Stix drum group, which clearly pumped the team up, as well as all of us in the arena! The Cavs were explosive from the start. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, we came on a night that OSU’s award winning marching band played during halftime and they put on a wonderful show. The highlight being able to see the iconic script “Ohio” in the flesh, a halftime staple when seeing the marching band during football season.
The night ended on a high note with a Cavs win of 135-95! Quite the opposite of the Bucks blowing the Cavs out of the water.
Thank you so much to Engage! Cleveland for hooking me up with 2 tickets that were in a great location! Just one of the many perks of being on the Engage! Cleveland Leadership Council.
