Cleveland’s Flagship Event Marks 11 Years of Bringing the Community Together
Cleveland, Ohio – May 1, 2024 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE– Engage! Cleveland will celebrate the 11th annualCleveland Young Professionals Week from June 8 to 15, 2024. The eight-day series of events aims to help Cleveland’s early to mid-career professionals, college students, and interns explore the city’s vibrant community, network with area leaders and peers, and experience everything Cleveland has to offer.
“We’re excited and proud to celebrate 11 years of Cleveland Young Professionals Week,” said Engage! Cleveland’s President, Ashley Basile Oeken. “At Engage Cleveland, it is our goal to attract, engage and retain emerging, diverse talent in Cleveland. With YP Week, we are living our mission by introducing emerging professionals and college interns to a wide range of activities, events, and networks that help them not only fall in love with the city but make it their lasting home.”
Engage! Cleveland’s YP Week is the largest event of its kind hosted by a nonprofit organization. Most events are unique to the Cleveland area and offer an experience that highlights the city.
This year’s Young Professionals Week boasts over 25 events occurring mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Some highlights during the week will include:
- Beyond the Buzzer NCAA Women’s Final Four Panel Discussion with Monica Gustin of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, David Gilbert of Destination Cleveland, and Brooke Lowery of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
- Behind-the-Scenes tours of Playhouse Square, Cleveland Browns Stadium and Progressive Field, the home of the Cleveland Guardians.
- The Inaugural 24 Emerging Professionals You Need To Know In 2024 Awards Ceremony and Breakfast.
- Our 14th installment of Lunch with Leaders includes Kathryn Heidemann President & CEO of the Cleveland Institute of Art, Jason Therrien CEO of thunder::tech, Andre Gremillet President & CEO of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Valissa Howard Chief People Officer for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
